  • It was constructed by Vizier Sahip Ata Fahreddin Ali during the period of Seljuk Sultan İzzettin Keykavus II as a “Dâr’ül-Hadis” (School of Hadith)

    Dâr’ül-Hadis was constructed in the courtyard Madrassah type of Seljuk period. On the portal which is among the masterpieces of Seljuk period stone masonry is the Fetih Verse of Koran from the first to the thirteenth verses and the first two verses and a part third verses of Yasin Verse of Koran by Sulus calligraphy in engraving technique.

    On the tomb frame is written “El mülkü lillah” (possessions belong to God) and “Âyete’l-Kürsi” (Koranic verse) in cufic calligraphy. While its minaret was of two balconied in fact, it was demolished as far as the first balcony at the result of lightning strike in 1901.

    Having continued its training until the end of the 19th century. Madrassah was restored by the Ministry of Culture and has been started to be used as a museum since 1964.
